Tomorrow is my 1 year Blogiversary and in honor of it, I am giving away a $50 gift card to Sephora.

I have to tell you that I chose this particular store because when things were really tough for us financially in this last year, beauty products were the first thing I gave up.
I scraped to the bottom of my favorite lipsticks, went without any type of foundation, resorted to bar soap and my husband's moisturizer. It was fine, but it wasn't fun.
I wanted my girly stuff- my Philosophy cleanser, exfoliator and moisturizer. I wanted my Nars lipstick, my Aqua eyes, and my favorite eye shadow. I wanted to feel like a girl again.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite beauty product... hard to pick I LOVE makeup and think I may be a Sephora-aholic. I even like to just go to the makeup websites like MAC and fill up my virtual cart. I love lipstick... right now my favorite happens to be by Revlon. I know it's cheapy drugstore but the color Rose Velvet is a great everyday color for me. I also like the new illuminator by NARS. As you can see I could go on and on.... BTW love the new Carrie do on you!

My favorite beauty product is mascara. I'm a cheapskate (which is why I hope to win the gc! lol), so I just use drugstore cosmetics. I use the Maybelline pink/green tube of mascara.

ReplyDeleteI have never bought anything from Sephora nor have I been in their store. I gave up expensive makeup when we started struggling financially as well. I now buy everything on my Target runs as I "sneak" pieces in with my everyday shopping. =) Lash Blast mascara is my favorite right now. Happy Blogiversary Brigetta.
