Happy Thanksgiving

 I love Thanksgiving.

I love the the turkey, golden and glistening in the oven.
I love the ease of being with family and friends.
My father-in -law pouring wine, kids devouring the appetizers, my sister-in-laws Jello Pretzel Salad, my mother's gravy, looking forward to Grammy's Turkey Soup.

I love the pie.

I love listening to my children tell us what they are thankful for.
I love purposefully taking in all the ways I am blessed.

I love tradition.
It gives me connection.
