Time... Grab it!

Our first month of summer has been busy. Baseball busy. Travel team busy. Practice busy.
And I love baseball. Love the team. Love the travel even.
But, now that we are home,  can I just tell you how happy I am to just "be" with my family?

This week I sat on the floor with Little Bear and pushed an airplane back and forth.
I watched his face light up, his little feet wriggle.

We took his sippy cup yes that is the wrong lid for a wild ride

and we laughed.

I sat for hours and played Monopoly and got a swift butt kicking from my eldest son.

I love games. I love having kids old enough to play games with me.

And we headed to the golf course to hit balls.
Where I did not hit one ball, but instead took pictures.

And got looks from HH saying, "Why are you taking pictures at the driving range?"

To his look, I said with my own look and a shrug,
"Because that's what I do. I document our very sweet good life."

it's a love journal...this blog of yours. with every word and picture you write you are leaving a love letter to those sweet ones. that's why i love coming here. it's so evident how much you care for those in your life.

Hi Brigetta!

Hope all is well.

Laughed out loud after reading "Walking Alone"...only it wasn't so funny b/c of how much truth there was to it! My mom was the same way...growing up in the inner city of DETROIT and all! ;) Plus too many Criminal Minds! LOL!!!

Anyway, I can't believe how big your little Bear has gotten. He's not a baby...but a toddler! :( :)

Luke just turned 1...can't even believe it. I remember when you posted about Little Bear turning 1.

Not walking yet...and no, I did NOT push him down...totally kidding!

Blessings,
Val
