Tips from the Lazy Laundress

On a Saturday, the day filled with lots of baseball for our family, I will give you my one and only laundry tip. It is a tip geared for baseball moms like me. It is not a product review like some bloggers do, but my real life solution.

I am not one of those people who will spend lots of time trying to get out stains. I just don't have the time. But, at the suggestion of a friend, I tried this fabulous product- Shout Gel, pictured below. It has bristles on the tip so when you squirt the gel out on the stain, you can quickly give it a little scrub at the same time. And the stains actually come out. Hooray!

The second part of this tip involves the dreaded belt of the baseball uniform. I realized last year that with two games a week and two boys playing ball, taking the belt out of the pants, then locating the belt once game time came, and then helping the boys put the belt back into the pants was taking up loads of my time.

So, one time, out of laziness, I put the pants in the washer and dryer with the belt still on the pants. And guess what? The belt stayed in the pants, it didn't wreck my dryer and the boys always knew which pants were game pants. It also did not wreck the belt. We are using the same belt from last year and it is still in great condition after traveling through many wash cycles.
Now I'm off to Jack's ball game! Happy laundering.

Good to know. I don't have boys, but those girls can get a little grimmed up too.
