This is me!
I am the turtle. I am the slow turtle who will keep going. I like this image because even though she is a turtle, she is not just sitting there. She is moving. It looks like she is running a race, which she is, but she is just going slow. And even though she only lost one more pound this week, we all know who wins the race in the end. So, I will happily be the turtle.
Be the turtle with me- persevere.
This week the turtle is trying something new. Instead of just trying not to eat the naughty things that taste so good, she is going to add more leafy greens, olive oil, and lean proteins to her diet. Doesn't the turtle look like she will enjoy them?
I do have some exciting news regarding the maternity clothes situation. I am able to wear my pre- pregnancy shorts. Glory!
They are a little snug, but they are buttonable (not a real word).
Also, this one lost pound only puts me 8 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight.
Not too shabby.
There are still 10 more pounds I'd like to lose after those 8, but we don't need to talk about those yet.
I am dying to hear- what's the low down on your weigh down?
Feel free to join in any time.

I also just had to tell you that I got my super duper Kodak Zi6 video camera in the mail. See this post to see how I won it. It is awesome. I love that they sent me a red one and that it is so light weight. I also love that it does not have a cord because I already have a plethora of those that seem to get lost. It has a pop out USB device that plugs right into your computer. Here is a picture of it connected to my keyboard.
And since I now have this handy dandy device, I just had to share some video of Little Bear who is three months old today. He weighed in with me this morning too. He is 15 pounds, 4 ounces. Just about the same amount of weight I want to lose. When you look at it that way, it sure looks like a lot.
When I hold this little guy, I just can't stop saying thank you to the Giver of good gifts. This boy blesses my socks off every day.

Stopping by from SITS! My baby is 3 1/2 and I am still trying to get some weight off. I must be a really slow turtle. I am trying to take baby steps so I don't quit before I even really get started.
Last week I could not see your comment button so I did not give you my low down.
I think I am a turtle also that took a detour and is sitting on a lilly pad. Lately I want a baby ( I have a 15 year old and a 10 year old and I am 38) so I have no idea what is going on. This obsession is making me eat and eat and eat. I have not gone to the gym in two weeks. I have probably gain my 4 pounds back. I will see how well I do this week.
P.S. Looking at your baby did not help my situation :)
Hey, what a good idea to do "weigh down wednesdays!" I wish I could join you, but I am in the "weigh UP wednesday" category! Lol That is because I am 25 weeks preggo! :) Anyhow, I plan on picking up on this idea after October because I never even lost my first baby weight! Thanks for the motivation, I am already pumped about getting back into pre-baby shape, or at least something like it.
So i'm lovin that camera!!!! And my little nephew is pretty darn cute too!!!
