Famous

So Hottie  Husband has always been a little famous in a small town sort of way.
We were high school sweethearts and cradle robber that I am, he was a junior and I was a senior when we started dating.

His football coach set us up.

He was good at football in high school, really good.
So, this leads to some admiring.
Plus, he's always been so stinkin good looking.
That helps.

Anyway...
he was famous as in

on the day we got married, a group of girls we went to high school with got together and had some type of creepy party where they burned all the momentos and pictures they had of him.
Sickos!

when we were about five years into our marriage with two babies in arms and at our town's annual Christmas parade, a guy came up to us with his much younger girlfriend and said- oh my gosh, you're Hottie Husband( obviously used his real name here), honey, do you know who this is- this is Hottie Husband!
She just kind of stared, not knowing what to do. I tried to make the interchange as normal as possible, knowing that HH had no idea who this guy was.

We walked away from that one with me shaking my head and rolling my eyes- seriously??
I mean, I can't let him get a big head about it. I have known him forever and the funny thing is that he has always been a good guy. Not that meathead, arrogant football player, just a guy who loved the game and who is fiercely competitive and loved his girlfriend a lot.

his Grandma Betty has a huge scrapbook of all him accomplishments in our local newspaper.

When we left our home town this year, I thought now I won't have to be subjected to his fame anymore.

Then a few days ago, my world came crashing down. HH and I were sitting in a cafe having lunch and he was reading the paper and do you know what he did?

He showed me this -

Photobucket

and said- look honey, I'm in the paper!

Yep, that's him in the yellow hat helping to rescue this man out of his overturned car.

Seriously, we have not been in this town for even three months and he is already in the paper?

Gotta love our hero husbands!!! I am guilty of saving every article that The Fireguy is in; seems creepy since it is during some poor souls worst moments!!

I adore the love you and HH share... Keep the fire burning darlin'!

You know you love it:) It's better to have a hot firefightin' husband than the alternative...right? Not sure what the alternative is, but it's hard to feel too sorry for ya;)
