I am Lovin Small Town Living!

I got the tracking number.
I went to the Fed Ex website.
Package will arrive Monday.
I am so excited...   at long last... monday, monday, monday.

I don't think I have ever longed for a Monday like this before.

Wait, what does that say?
NOTE- Package must be signed for upon delivery.

Ohhh, I don't like that, not one little bit!
Whenever this happens, no matter how hard I try to be home, the package ALWAYS comes when I am gone.

So my beloved Monday came and I waited all morning looking out the window sporadically for  the Fed/Ex man, the Fed/Ex truck... anyone???

Then 11:30 came and I raced to pick up Toots from preschool. When I pulled up in our driveway, I noticed something stuck to my front door.

11:37am- attempt to deliver package. signature required.

Uhhhgggg! The timing of that I tell you!

Hmmm.... what is this here? A phone number? Really? This is a novelty.

I dial the number.

Hello.
Hi, is this the Fed/Ex man? (that sounds like such a silly thing to say now that I am writing it.)
Yes.
I think you just tried to deliver a package to my house and I am home now so....
Oh, I am on the other side of town now, but I can come again tomorrow or I could just meet you in town.

Seriously? Meet me in town? When and where buddy? I am all over that!!!!

So, my very own personal Fed/Ex man met me in town near the local ice cream store and handed over my beloved package to me.

Oh, the wonders of living in a small town.

I know you are dying to know what was in the package, but my Mamasistas, you will have to wait until tomorrow for that little tidbit.

Side note- When I was pregnant with Toots, Jackie Boy wanted to name him Fed/Ex! I am thinking now that I might just need to go back and change his name.
