I thought we had two more years with Mister Luke in Elementary School, but here in Whitefish 5th grade is in Middle School.
So he is moving on and it makes me a little sad.
We toured the new school.
I like how the 5th graders have their own area and I was impressed with the principal.
But still...
it just makes him not so little anymore.
I keep thinking about all the stuff I might need to tell him about before he starts there next year.
You know, the kind of stuff I want him to hear from his parents and not some kid at school.
He is excited about middle school, not the least bit scared.
Here he is getting his graduation certificate from his teacher.
Toots is moving on too.
Today was his very last day of preschool.
Next year, he will be a Kindergartner.
Here he is at his Headmaster's house on a field trip with his class,
holding a baby goat.
And this little guy wants to move on everywhere.
He is playing with trucks and scooping this lovely gravel we have at the baseball fields and has finally learned that it doesn't go in his mouth.
But, isn't he just looking so big?
So, thank you Jackie Boy for still being in elementary school and only moving on to fourth grade or I might just completely break down in tears!!!

*sigh* Why must the grow up on us?! Big things happening in your home. Hold on tight and take lots of pictures.
My oldest is movin' on to 5th grade and to me that seems big time. I remember all I learned about and the changes etc... It's hard wanting to let them grow up. You are lucky in the fact that you still have your baby to hold on to:)
Be thankful he has made it to 5th grade without learning too much. Ty is 13 days away from finishing 3rd grade and comes home the other day asking what S-E-X means. (not sure if you saw my status a few days ago... he would only spell it not say it) I was flabbergasted kids his age are talking about it already, and extremely thankful he came home to me and asked me!!! Oh how I miss the days he was playing with that very same trash truck little bear was playing with!! It goes way too quickly. xoxo
They grow up soo fast!
They really do grow up to quick. My one and only starts preschool this year.
Don't you wish you could just freeze them at this age? I dread my WeeMan growing up and yet I marvel and am awed by the new things he learns everyday - being a mom is a catch 22
OMGosh, the very thought of 5th grade just makes me cry all over again! I think it was MY saddest farewell for both my kids when they moved on from elementary to middle school...it's saying goodbye to childhood :(
Hug that little one of yours up tight (but yes, even he really is looking so big himself, so precious!)
ahh my oldest goes to kindergaten next year too, I can't even think about it right now! Your family is great and I love your pics!
