Icicles

 I am recently fascinated by icicles and

 how quickly they form,

 why one will grow longer than the others or fork into two,

how apparently when you have a gutter where water comes out, I giant icicle will form there instead.

How they will envelop a tree

and create their own branches.

Or come out like a claw, with Freddy Kruger fingers.

Yes, I just wander around looking at icicles, pondering their existence. 

Let the Christmas shopping, change of address collecting, wrapping, ordering online, stamp sticking, homework reviewing, dinner making, manuscript editing take care of itself.

I'm gonna go look at icicles.
