ducks. hats. firsts. sumo wrestlers.

It was Mardi Gras at the mountain this weekend.
This gives the kids free reign to dress up as silly as they like.
Apparently, they like that kind of free reign.
Yes, that is a duck duct taped to Jackie Boy's helmet.

It's nice because we have friends who are as fun loving as we are.

Later in the day, the boys could be seen in the tutus, but don't tell them I told you that.
Actually, they wouldn't care if you knew. Obviously, shyness isn't something they suffer from.

This was my favorite view of the day.
When he was flying down the mountain, that cape was whipping in the wind and the people on the lifts were singing- na,na,na,na,na,na, bat-man...

And there was Sumo Wrestling. Which was hilarious.
The boys ran into all their buddies from school and they spent the day in these sumo suits wrestling each other.
We left them in Sumo Daycare and hit a few runs.

If that wasn't enough for one weekend, we also thought it might be fun to put this little 23 month old on some skis.
You know, so he can always say he was on skis for the first time when he was one.

He looks happy here because he is eating and doesn't yet know how uncomfortable ski boots are.

Getting all geared up.

Be. still. my. heart.
All four boys on skis.
These boys were so proud and excited to watch him.

Wheeeeeeee!
Photobucket

This is where my camera skills went like—
ski ahead, still shot, still shot, ski further, switch to video, oh no they are coming too quick, shoot, ski down more, ski backward, make happy cheering noises, video, switch to camera, take picture, take picture, hooray!!

And after a few runs and way past nap time, reality hits and we get this face.
We are not certain if it because he is tired of skiing...

or  because we made him wear that ridiculous hat with goggles.

All I know is that it is going into a frame on my wall.
