A Day on The Beach

Sorry I have been a neglectful blogger. An infrequent poster.
I will not give up this personal blog because I love it and you.
And my attempt to be balanced as I launch my online magazine and write here on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays has not been successful.
Alas, today is Tuesday!

Things go by the wayside- housework, writing, calling friends.
And we are fully entrenched in baseball season (at the fields nightly with three teams).
You get it. You are my people.
But, I know this temporary and I'm hoping you'll stick around.

I did take a moment to hang with Little Bear on the beach and take some 2 year old photos of him.

I loved this day.
All he wanted to do was throw rocks.
And yes, he is a lefty!

I wish you could hear the sound of this giggle.
That deep belly laugh of pure unadulterated joy!

I think this one is my favorite though.
Little hands and feet.
Sparkling eyes.
Sweet smile.

And then there is the serious side.
Oh my!

Thank goodness for photographs.

Otherwise I just couldn't stand to let him grow.
And my memory could never retain the beauty.

Oh my! What a doll, and a true heartbreaker in the making :-)

You are wise and fortunate to take these photographs!! The serious one appears to resemble his Daddy...
