Little Bear is 6 Months Old

I can't believe my baby is already half way to his first birthday. It just goes too quickly. I want to freeze him just the way he is right now. But, this silly kid keeps eating and growing and eating and growing.

And now, when he knows he is my last baby and that he is supposed to stay a baby for as long as possible, he has decided that he should be moving around just like everyone else in the house. So he is up on all fours, rocking back and forth and then launching himself forward to reach the toys around him. He will no longer stay on the blanket I put out for him and will soon be exploring the whole house. Doesn't he know I'm just not ready for that!

Due to many events, including two funerals this week along with two birthday parties, both at my house today at separate times for two of my children who were born 5 years and 1 day apart (actual birthdays next week), I have not had time to do Little Bear's 6 month photographs.

However, for your enjoyment mostly for Grammy's, we present Little Bear and entourage in "The First Feeding." Yes, in the first moment, Toots coughs and spits something right onto Little Bear's face. Bon Appetit!!

I know exactly HOW you feel... my little will be 12 months in less than 2 weeks... It's bittersweet!

That baby stage just doesn't last long does it? It's never so apparent then when it's your last baby leaving babyhood behind.

What a fun video of him trying to feed himself. I guess He has been watching his brothers eat for so long he just thought it was natural to do it himself. Soon he will be playing baseball:-( My last little grandbaby is growing up so cute but tooooooo fast!
