My patient Mamasistas, I am going to tell you what is up over here.
We sold our house. Can I hear a big woot woot?
And we are taking a huge leap of faith and moving our not so little family to the great state of Montana. As you may remember from this post (when I had no faith to believe we would ever go), this has been a journey. And let me tell you my friends, you do not know the half of it, or even a quarter of it or even a tenth (unless your are a family member or a friend in real life then you might know a little more), but you will.
We are not moving for a job. We are not moving because we have family there. We are not moving because we have friends there. We are not normal. I get that. But, we are going anyway.
We will miss our friends and we will ache for our family. I will have to be purposeful about staying connected and I hope this blog will help me feel connected and I will make my sister join Facebook. That's the plan so far. I am open to suggestions from those of you who have moved away before.
I have plans to tell you the story of how we got here from beginning to end- it started four years ago. Don't worry- I'll tell it in palatable segments. I am just starting to see what God was up to in the middle of this valley we have been in and I am excited to journal out loud (that's what blogging is, right?) about this four year journey. There are nuggets, nuggets, many nuggets and maybe even some boulders too.
In the meantime, here is a picture of where we are going

Oh my goodness, how wonderful! That picture is beautiful, I can't wait to hear more. I'm delighted for you as this is obviously something you've wanted. All the very best and, as we say here in Scotland, 'Lang may yer Lum Reek'.
p.s. loosely translated, it means long may your chimney smoke, or I hope you always have enough coal to make a good fire for hearth and home. :O)
Doooon'T Goooooo!!!!!!!!!!
okay i know you must! ;'(
I love you with all my heart!!!! Your big sister is just gunna have to suck it up!!!!! UGH!!
Oh girl!!! You will love it; well maybe not as much as the boyz (if they hunt/fish), but it is truly beautiful there!
What town will you be calling home? Whereabout in the state is it?
I too have family in Montana; Havre which hours is about 2 hours NE of Great Falls ~
Beautiful country!
woot! woot! when i saw the picture i figure that is the explanation of why you are going there! i love montana!
What a wonderful world to move to...a fantasy for me! Congrats on selling your home, no simple feat these days. 5 years ago we left LA and came to Las Vegas, where we knew no one, had no family. We met so many wonderful people and now are happier than we ever were in California, where everyone is always too busy or too much traffic to get together. It will be wonderful for you!
Good luck, I hope you continue to blog so that we know how it goes...
Nathalie
Seeing that picture makes me ask...Well, who wouldn't want to live there?
That is such wonderful news! Congratulations. :) Montana is beautiful country [as you already know] and I am super jealous of your new home state! Can't wait to hear the whole story. :)
Congrats! I am so happy for you and I love that you are going to share how God has moved you from beginning to end.
Blessings,
Amy
OMGosh...how cool is that?!!!
I too am eagerly awaiting the nuggets (and/or boulders) of how God is working in your life!!!
Best wishes with the move. All those little men you are raising are in for an experience of a lifetime!
Blessings,
Valerie
From someone who moved from AZ to MD...what a great adventure you will have! We made the decision to move and we were on our way in 3 weeks...so four years is nothing baby!
God does help guide our daily decisions and our big decision! You go girl!!!!!
fantabulous.
we moved here to Illinois due to a job...but we have no family and had no friends when we first moved here.
what a full 2 years it has been.
I can't wait for all the details..
xo
Hi! I am from Montana, I was born and raised in Billings. It is so beautiful in Montana! I am curious in what town you are moving to? Bozeman and Missoula are my favorites!!!! Take up skiing I am sure the boys will love it. Take care and enjoy your time in Montana country!!!
YAY!!! So happy for you finally Brigetta. We moved to Minnesota 5 years ago and didn't know a soul. It has been a good thing. I really like the distance with my family. Although at first it was extremely painful. It actually helped MY family grow together more. You will love it and flourish I have no doubt. Can't wait to hear every detail.
Wow that pic is AMAZING!!! I'd move there too! So fun :)
Congratulations! It looks beautiful. I'm looking forward to hearing all about your journey!
Heather

Wow to you! Can I move there too? :)) Looks very nice, now you will have real winters... not like california... huh? Well the best of luck to you. I wish you happy packing, happy moving, happy new life.
Congrats!!! That's great! :D
overjoyed for you, my precious, precious, friend. overJOYed :)
I heard a move was in the works...how adventurous of you and Jason (and the boys)! Can't wait to hear tales from Montana and see pictures. When is the big move?
P.S. Steve and I started a new healthy eating blog if you wanna read it - it's been really fun to keep up: http://kravings.wordpress.com
That is a gorgeous picture.
Good job being faithful, my friend!
I can't tell you how extremely jealous I am. My brother just left yesterday for his move to Idaho. How I wish I had that freedom!
We'll wave on our way through to visit our family in Canada. Best of luck! Speaking as a Wyoming girl, I think you're going to love the blue skies and wide open spaces.
Hey girl
Busy times at your house. Wish I were closer to keep an eye on the boys while you pack. We've moved, um, a few times. I'll save you the details but it's in the teens. Stay in the Word, pray actively to keep the spirit of pride bound up safely where it belongs, and pray for your man as he leads you. Whatever is drawing you to Montana, I pray He uses you for His glory. So sorry about your Opa, too. Keep lovin up all your guys. They need you, mama. Have a great week.
