System Overload

I think I am on system overload. I don't really feel stressed at all, but when I sat down to write something tonight, I was blank and I am never blank. I usually have too many topics to choose from. There is so much going on, but nothing that my brain can work into something cleverly cohesive at this point.
Escrow closed early today... I know... unheard of!

We are... dancing and singing and moving to the groovin and... just when it hit me... I don't know how it goes here...

PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC WHITE BOY!!!!!!!! (now go back and sing that whole part)

And we get to stay through Saturday, when we will be loading up the moving truck.

We are trying to find a new suburban to buy and trying to get rid of Pig Pen! I am eager to say good riddance to Pig Pen ( I have to say that I stole that name from my friend Jen who calls her car that.) She has great names for things. She once told her children that if they didn't behave she would have to call the babysitter named Marge the Sarge who was really tough on children- you know- like a drill sergeant.

Anyway, so finding a new car alone can be exhausting. But EXCITING!

My computer is also back in the hospital. This time for a hardware problem. But, there is good news and some information I need to share with you if you happen to own a 2006 Mac core2. The logic board is going bad on many of them. It causes your computer to freeze up and the graphics to look all wacky sometimes. It is about an $800.00 part to fix and not covered by warranty. However, I took mine into our Apple store to the Genius Bar and they said they would fix it at no charge. But, they had to order the part so my mother was nice enough to loan her laptop to me so I would not be out of touch again.

We also spent about 2 hours in the Verizon store tonight switching service and getting phones. Very delightful with all four boys in tow. Very delightful I must say! Well, Mister Luke was delighted anyway. He was able to get the cell phone we had promised him for his birthday. It was really cute helping him enter the phone numbers of his Grandma, his Grandpa, his Great-Grandma and his cousins. He had to make sure that Grandma Betty's number was in his phone. So cute.

So put that all on top of all other things associated with moving out of state and that puts me on OVERLOAD. But it is ALL GOOD!

So even though I cannot write a clever cohesive post at this point, I am still

dancing... and singing.... and movin to the groovin...

You are having a brain freeze. Completely understandable with the 10 million things going on in your life right now. How exciting though...new car, new phones, borrowed computer;) I love those exciting moments in life...they come so few and far between.

So it's really all coming down to the wire? Still can't believe it's all happening! Reading in the weekly update from school that it was Luke's last week made it all VERY real. Change is hard. But what an adventure you are on! We're so proud of you guys and happy for this season in your lives. As I've said before, baseball season just won't be the same without you all... We'll miss you!

Adrenaline is a wonderful drug .... but unfortunately, like the toothpaste ad declares, it does get in.

Look at me ... I'm the after example in the before and after of adrenaline overdose.

Maybe after you move, you can put a few more of those 'rest' captions over your days and regroup :}
