This is Jackie Boy-
at four!
Wasn't he just delicious?
Well, he still is.
But, now he is nine.
He had his birthday yesterday!
He is never this serious.
He usually looks more like this!
Silly and happy and telling stories and jokes in a
very loud voice.
He needs a volume knob.
But, this kid is a delight.
He loves deeply and has a huge heart.
He was very blessed by the fact the on his actual birthday, the whole third grade got to go up to the mountain for a ski day.
That particular field trip just happened to fall on his birthday yesterday.
Then, we met him at the ski resort and kept a few of his buddies too.
They blew bubbles.
and had a grand ol time skiing all over the mountain together.
Grammy and Papa are up visiting this weekend and we are loving hanging out with them and skiing.
How many kids do you know who get to ski with their grandparents?
They did the most wonderful thing 37 years ago tommorow.
Do you know what it was?
They brought this cute guy into the world.
So, we are visiting and celebrating and I have lots to share.
But, for now, I am enjoying all the fun.
As a result , I am not going to take time to fix this very blurry photo.

Jakob needs a volume knob too- maybe it's a boy thing.
