Mister Luke....
Oh, Mister Luke....
Um, Luke...
Could you look at me?
Humph! Well, at least get the bill of your hat out of the water please.
Earth to Luke
Your hair is getting wet now!
Luke- I would really like to have your face in the picture.
Oh, LUUUUUUUUKKKKKEEE!
Luke's friend?
What mom?
Whatcha doing?
I'm catching this guy!
And this one!
And all these!
We had the pleasure of going ice-fishing on a school field trip with Mister Luke yesterday!
The thing that was most interesting was how self-sufficient the kids were. They carried their stuff, endured the cold, baited their hooks, and took the fish off the hooks.
I didn't hear any complaining.
The only thing you ever heard them say was.
"I caught one!"
This Little Bear and I had to go warm up in the car a few times.
And Hottie Husband was kind enough to actually look at the camera and smile for me so that was nice.
And even though the teacher looked at me when I showed up and said-
Are you ready for this?
Meaning- Are you sure you little miss California girl can do this?
We showed them what die hards we were by bringing our baby along.
And pushing our stroller out on the frozen lake!
Now I just have to figure out how the clean the fish because Mister Luke has his heart set on eating them and HH has an aversion to all things fishy.

Awesome Pictures Captured for wonderful memories to share with everyone. What an adventure. You are so beautiful. Have a nice weekend.
Lovely photos! Our little town is holding an ice fishing derby tomorrow. My brother traveled six hours from college to come home for it this weekend! Ha! Brrr. {grin}
Those pictures are hilarious! What a fun field trip, we don't do anything like that around here. How was it considered educational- in school terms?
I'm not to sure I could step out on a frozen pond though. I think I'd be the one to fall through.
I will never understand ice fishing. I just can't! Cute pics though. Looks like your boys loved it:)
You all looked sooooo cute in the midst of all that cold! Brrrr.
