Here Comes The Sun

Here comes the sun and I say... it's all right!

Thanks for your kind words and prayers over our rainy days.
You are so good because

the sun'll come out... tomorrow... just gotta hang on til tomorrow.

Okay.
I'll stop singing.
I know I don't have a great voice.
Not even a good one.

I just wanted to let you know that the sun has come out here and things feel better.

The kids took second place in their baseball play-off tournament and after a few tears at not being first, they celebrated.

We took advantage of the sunny weather and decided to hike Big Mountain, the mountain we skied all winter.

Here, the boys were getting a little tired.
I tried to explain to them that they have a daddy who is very goal oriented and he was heading to the summit and was going to make sure we all got there with him.
Just keep going.

This is about half way up... maybe.

Unlike the rest of us, Little Bear got to take a nap.

Aren't those little lips just kissable?
I am talking about the baby people!

But, we lucked out.
The Drill Sargent let us stop and have our snacks when we ran into this rather large snow meadow close to the top.
A few moments later, a mom, dad and baby on back came by and just walked right through it to the other side like it was no big deal.
They didn't even pause.
I told Hottie Husband that maybe next year we would be more like real Montanans.
The California in us stopped at the sight of snow.

Continuing to enjoy the warmth, we ate outside and then finished off the day
by sitting on our deck, watching the boats in the lake and roasting s'mores
and saying things like- don't swing that hanger, don't get marshmallow on the new cushions, sit over there, how did you spill that???????

Yes, a little sunshine does wonders.
