Limeade Chicken - Easy Family Recipe

Hottie Husband brought this recipe home from the fire station and I am soooo happy about it.
I am always on the lookout for easy family recipe's that are yummy and simple to remember.

And this one involves a can of limeade.
That sold me right away.
To my sister- you CAN make this. The kids would love it.

In the morning, or mid-day, take out your limeade can and run it under warm water.
Marinate chicken breasts or tenderloins (I like tenderloins) in the limeade.
Yes, just pour it right over them- nothing else needed.
Let it marinate.

Forgive the raw chicken picture.
It makes me want to gag.

Drain the limeade from the chicken and place in a baking pan of some type.

Pour a jar of salsa into a bowl,

add a squirt of ranch dressing,

stir until it looks like this,

and pour most of the mixture over the chicken.

Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven.

Then place a layer of tortilla chips over the mixture

Pour the remaining mixture over the chips and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Bake for 5 more minutes and enjoy.
I serve it over rice.
You will not believe how good the lime flavor of the chicken tastes.

Enjoy!
