Love, love, love, love, love....

I love the first expressions of love.
Using fresh acquired skills to form each letter of a friend's name.
Picking out each card with care, choosing which is best for each classmate.

I love watching my boys take time to
write cards to teachers, thanking them for being so cool.
This picture is Jack. The one above is Toots. They looks so much alike.

I love that they wanted to create a card for great-grandma because this day holds special meaning for her.

You can read about Grandma Betty and her beautiful love story.
We love you and wish we were going with you tonight.

I love that my 11 year old son loves traditions and holidays and because his teacher won't let them bring Valentine cards, he decided to bake brownies for his class all by himself.

I love that I have an amazing husband who loves us all and
a Little Bear who is at this moment pulling everything out of a cabinet and throwing it on the ground.

He doesn't feel good today.
He has wanted to be held all morning and that's okay.
Because sometimes we just all want to be held.

Happy Valentine's Day.
May you be held by a moment of beauty today that speaks to you of how you are loved.

Hope your little bear is feeling better soon. Enjoy your extra Valentine's cuddles with him.
How sweet that your oldest would take the initiative to bake brownies for his class. I'm surprised they're not allowed to do Valentines cards still.

Awww, I know you know this, but cherish those days, it's all too soon when they grow up and stop passing out Valentine's Day cards to everyone in the class anymore (I love that your oldest baked, baking will ALWAYS be a part of Valentine's Day!).
