The Boys of Fall

Have you watched that video on youtube?
Or heard Kenny Chesney's song- The Boys of Fall?

It makes me think of this guy right here.
Now he is coaching football for our boys.

But, he used to be the boy I loved who wore number 43 in high school and drove a really cool red truck with big tires and lifted suspension.
He was the guy who was team captain, mvp, and always out on the field.

He was the boy who captured my seventeen year old heart.
I am so glad that we knew each other then.
That I got to see him play and cheer him on.

But, now we have some new boys of fall.

Smaller, not quite as aggressive as dad was yet.

But, still looking super cute in their pads and gear.
That's Jackie Boy with the green chin strap.

Yes,

I have always loved a boy in a football uniform.

HH is looking fine as coach. Sorry I look upon your husband with admiring eyes. You've got one of the finest catches in the states!

I'm sure he is loving coaching his boys. And you got some great shots.

Love that song. My son played football all 4 years and loves the sport. Him and his friends to me are the boys of fall. I watch as my friends who played football back in the day come back and watch the college and football games you can just see they still love the sport and their memories are still very strong
